“Several U.S. warplanes crashed this morning, and all crew members survived,” the ministry’s official military spokesperson said, adding that the incident occurred earlier in the day without specifying the location or the number of aircraft involved.
No fewer than four persons were killed in a stampede during the distribution of annual Ramadan alms at Kofar-Guga quarters, Katsina, the state’s Police Command has confirmed.
A statement by the command’s spokesperson, DSP Aliyu Abubakar, described the incident as regrettable.

Justice Emeka Nwite, in a ruling, overruled the NDLEA’s objection and marked the video recordings as “Exhibit D-3.”
The video contains the confessional statements of the two drug traffickers, Chibunna Umeibe and Emeka Ezenwanne, convicted by Justice Nwite on June 14, 2022, after they pleaded guilty to the counts preferred against them by the NDLEA.
