Residents of Katsina metropolis have expressed deep frustration over the persistent poor electricity supply by the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Southern Kaduna Coalition Disowns Pro-El-Rufai Rally, Backs Probe of Former Governor

The Coalition of Southern Kaduna Progressive Minds has distanced itself from a protest in Kafanchan on Tuesday by a group claiming solidarity with the embattled former governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai.

A statement signed by Jehu Dogo and Najib Mohammed, chairman and secretary of the coalition, respectively, said those who organised the rally did not represent the people of Southern Kaduna.
